Created in collaboration with Château La Coste, the biodynamic wine estate known for its award-winning wines and impressive art collection, the terrace is inspired by the rolling hills, olive groves and wildflower-filled landscapes of Provence. The food is just as tempting, with a menu packed full of sunny Southern French flavours. Standout dishes include the indulgent brioche lobster sub roll with lemon, smoked paprika, chives and spring onion (£24.50), a Caesar salad for two served with white anchovies and golden frites (£30), and the show-stopping 108 seafood platter loaded with hot smoked salmon rillettes, prawn cocktail, dressed white crab and peppered mackerel (£85) – perfect for sharing over a bottle of rosé.
And because no summer feast is complete without dessert, there’s a delicious cherry clafoutis served with olive oil ice cream, made using Château La Coste’s own organic extra virgin olive oil (£12) – a sweet finish with a distinctly Provençal twist.
